The Component Placer Tool can be used to quickly place a large number of items
of the same type onto a schematic. To place an item with this tool, select the
item in the Project Tree
by clicking on it with the left mouse button. Then with
the Component Placer tool activated move the mouse cursor over the
Design Canvas
and you will see an outline of the component appear on the canvas.
Clicking once with the left mouse button will drop an instance of the selected
component type onto the schematic. The component outline will remain and follow
the cursor, and successive clicks will add more instances of the component to
the schematic. When finished adding components hit the Esc key to re-activate
the Arrow Tool.
