This dialog allows you to specify key combinations to activate certain actions. When you first begin to use Interactive Logic a selected set of actions will already have shortcuts defined for them. Using this dialog you can remove these shortcuts and assign new combinations to the actions, and of course you can also define shortcut keys for actions that had no default shortcut.
When this button is clicked the Key Recorder will be displayed and wait for you to enter a key combination. You may enter a combination using the Control, Alt or Shift keys combined with another key, and/or you may enter separate keys, up to a maximum of four key presses. For example 'Shift x' is a valid shortcut, 'a b c d' is also a valid shortcut and 'Shift x Shift y z Alt k' is also valid. If you enter a shortcut such as 's g' for Show Grid then you will either have to wait until the Key Recorder times out, or you may click the Finish button to tell the Key Recorder that you have finished the entire key combination. If the key combination already exists then you will be notified and the recording will be discarded. After the Key Recorder disappears the new shortcut will appear in the table, you can now assign an action to the shortcut by selecting the desired action in the drop down list. You will not be able to close the dialog with OK if you have assigned the same action to multiple shortcuts.
