The Design Canvas is the main working area of the software, used for constructing and modifying both schematics and state diagrams, as well as viewing circuit operation online. When a project is loaded in Interactive Logic, the Design Canvas will always display either a schematic or a state diagram. The name of the active schematic or state diagram is displayed in the title bar of the main window. By default the Design Canvas is drawn with a background grid which all components snap to when positioned. This grid can be shown or hidden by the Show Grid action. Typically a schematic or state diagram is created by dragging and dropping components from the Project Tree and then connecting these components using the Wiring Tool. |
