When constructing a state diagram, the name of a transition can be modified by either double clicking on it, or right clicking and selecting 'Properties' from the popup menu. The transition name can be any combination of alphanumeric characters as well as spaces. When the OK button is clicked a text label will be placed next to the transition on the state diagram. This label can be moved to a suitable position so that the transitions on the diagram can be easily identified. If you wish you can delete the label that was automatically generated. The transition will still remain named correctly even after the label has been deleted. You can also add comments to the state diagram using the Text Tool. |
