Observing circuit operation

Waves Analog.png

The data display plots waveforms of data values located anywhere in your circuit. The data may be buried many levels down within a sub-circuit, and is presented with its full symbolic path name in terms of the names you have assigned to the sub-circuits and data.

Multi-bit data can be displayed in analog form as well as digital, and the time axes of the analog and digital waveform display panes can be synchronized or independent.

Waveforms can be zoomed, positioned, printed, saved and re-displayed. Display panes can be re-sized as required

As shown below, markers allow measurement of time and clock-count intervals as well as the display of numerical values of multi-bit data. If state machine waveforms are included, the active state names can be displayed in symbolic form as cursor hints associated with the waveforms.
